Return Policy

 

Please inspect your shipment immediately upon arrival. Verify that your order was received and in undamaged condition. Check the container thoroughly to avoid throwing away parts that may be wrapped in packing materials. In some cases no invoices may be sent in the package as your order may arrive in several different packages. Hit-Air Equestrian USA must be notified within 48 hours of delivery of any damage or of any missing parts!

If any part of your order is missing or damaged please contact our customer service department at info@hitairequestrianusa.com . Addressing all customer service issues via e-mail allows us to track issues more effectively and provides a log of all correspondence.

Damaged Merchandise - If the merchandise you ordered was damaged in shipping, you must contact your local UPS office within 48 hours of delivery to file a damage claim for replacement. Once claims are finalized with the shipper, only then will Hit-Air Equestrian USA order and send out the replacement parts.

Returns - Hit-Air Equestrian USA has a return policy of 10 days from the date of delivery as shown on the FedEx tracking system. We understand that sometimes the items purchased do not entirely fit your needs.

With that in mind, we offer a full refund on orders returned to Hit-Air Equestrian USA within 15 days with these restrictions:

 

  • We require that the product be returned in the original packaging; both the product and the packaging must be in a new and unused condition. Please do not remove tags from apparel. Items that are returned with damaged packaging or product that cannot be re-sold in new condition will be returned. If the items ordered are the error of the customer we will refund the full price of the product minus the shipping cost and 3.5% credit card processing fee. The 3.5% is factored on the total amount of the order. PayPal charges us a fee for refunds. If your order qualified for free shipping, the cost of the shipping will also be deducted if you request a refund for a returned item. If the error is ours we will refund the full price, plus the shipping costs and give you a 5% discount on any future purchase. Where applicable, we reserve the right to charge a fee of up to 50%. This is the fee that some of our distributors and or manufacturers charge usfor missing parts, documentation and manufacturer's box/packaging.
  • Non-defective opened products will not be considered for return. If we cannot resell the products as new and unused, then we cannot accept it for return.
  • Hit-Air Equestrian USA is not responsibly for custom's fees, duties, or taxes on international orders.
  • Hit-Air Equestrian USA must RECEIVE returned items within 15 days of the original delivery date as shown on the FEDEX tracking system. After 15 days all sales are considered final and no returns will be accepted.
  • If the customer keeps any portion of an order, the original shipping charges will not be refunded.

 

  • All returns must be marked with a Return Authorization Number (RAN), which can be obtained by writing to info@hitairequestrianusa.com , and shipped freight pre-paid to the address provided with the RAN
  • After 15 days the manufacturer's warranty if any will apply. Please consult your manufacturer's warranty for information on how to obtain warranty service.

 

  • Sale of closeout items are final, only defective close out items may be returned for credit

Hit-Air Warranty

 

(1)With the Hit-Air warranty, the manufacturer will repair or replace items with defects in quality (not related to accidents) during the first year of ownership. 

(2) PEDCO, LLC offers a replacement plan that is valid within the first 3 years of ownership, for items damaged or destroyed as a result of an accident. As with all safety apparel, the severity of an accident and the ensuing damage to the apparel (not the number of incidents or a time period of use) determines if the product is re-usable or repairable. For example, the result of a single impact during the first use could, in severe accidents, destroy the item. Because of this, there is no written warranty to cover damage as a result of an accident. On the other hand, we have many customers who ( even after multiple accidents over a span of years) sustained no damage to the item or their body.

(3) PEDCO, LLC will replace the Hit-Air models listed below, in the case of severe damage as a result of an accident while on horseback. For the purposes of item replacement, the term "severely damaged" means that the airbag system is rupture, the outer fabric is frayed or damaged due to abrasion, or fabric seams are torn open.

(3a) Strap buckles that can be repaired without compromising the performance of the vest are not included.

(3b) An Accident Report is required for all items involved in accidents while on horseback. The owner of the damaged item needs to fill out the Accident Report Form. All items must be returned with the accident report form. Return / replacement of products are handled by Hit-Air Equestrian USA.

(5)Replacement policy for items involved in a horseback riding accident only, must include:

  • The original receipt purchased within the last 12 months
  • A descriptive letter signed and dated by the rider
  • An Accident Report Form

(6)Per PEDCO Replacement policy, only one replacement will be provided for each returned item.

(7) No accident replacements will be allowed for previously replaced items. Accident replacement items are not covered and will not be replaced a second time. Each new item is allowed one accident replacement.

To receive a replacement vest, follow the instructions below: 

1. Please call customer service at 1-877 989 3282 for your Return Authorization number (RA#) . You will be emailed with a shipping label for your return. That RA # must be clearly marked on the outside of the return box.
